10       DROP TEXT SEARCH TEMPLATE [ IF EXISTS ] name [ CASCADE | RESTRICT ]

DESCRIPTION

14       DROP  TEXT  SEARCH TEMPLATE drops an existing text search template. You
15       must be a superuser to use this command.

PARAMETERS

18       IF EXISTS
19              Do not throw an error if  the  text  search  template  does  not
20              exist.  A notice is issued in this case.

22       name   The  name  (optionally  schema-qualified)  of  an  existing text
23              search template.

25       CASCADE
26              Automatically drop objects that depend on the text  search  tem‐
27              plate.

29       RESTRICT
30              Refuse to drop the text search template if any objects depend on
31              it.  This is the default.

EXAMPLES

34       Remove the text search template thesaurus:

36       DROP TEXT SEARCH TEMPLATE thesaurus;

38       This command will not succeed if there are  any  existing  text  search
39       dictionaries that use the template. Add CASCADE to drop such dictionar‐
40       ies along with the template.

COMPATIBILITY

43       There is no DROP TEXT SEARCH TEMPLATE statement in the SQL standard.
