NAME

6       liebert - Driver for Liebert contact-closure UPS equipment

NOTE

9       This man page only documents the hardware-specific features of the
10       liebert driver. For information about the core driver, see
11       nutupsdrv(8).

SUPPORTED HARDWARE

14       This driver supports some Liebert UPS equipment with a contact-closure
15       interface. This includes the UPStation GXT2 with their contact-closure
16       cable. The smart mode ("Multilink") cable is not supported by this
17       driver.

EXTRA ARGUMENTS

20       This driver does not support any extra settings in the ups.conf(5).

BUGS

23       This driver does not yet support shutdowns by raising DTR. Be aware
24       that shutdowns are not possible with the stock contact-closure cable.
25       You may have to build another cable with DTR connected through to the
26       UPS for it to work.

28       There is no way for this driver to detect the hardware or cable. It
29       will start up successfully even if no UPS is present. This is a
30       fundamental limitation of any contact-closure driver.
