SYNOPSIS

9        perl6 [switches] [--] [programfile] [arguments]

DESCRIPTION

12       Compiles "[programfile]" or the program given by the "-e" option, and
13       by default also executes the compiled code.

15         -c                   check syntax only (runs BEGIN and CHECK blocks)
16         -e program           one line of program
17         -h, --help           display this help text
18         --target=[stage]     specify compilation stage to emit
19         -t, --trace=[flags]  enable trace flags

PARROT OPTIONS

39       To specify options to the underlying parrot VM, you must explicitly run
40       parrot; you cannot specify these options by using the "perl6"
