12 This manual page documents briefly the vmpk program.
13 This program has standard Qt programs options.
15 Virtual MIDI Piano Keyboard is a MIDI events generator and receiver. It
17 doesn´t produce any sound by itself, but can be used to drive a MIDI
18 synthesizer (either hardware or software, internal or external). You
19 can use the computer´s keyboard to play MIDI notes, and also the mouse.
20 You can use the Virtual MIDI Piano Keyboard to display the played MIDI
21 notes from another instrument or MIDI file player.

24 -style=style
25 sets the application GUI style. Possible values are motif, windows,
26 and platinum. If you compiled Qt with additional styles or have
27 additional styles as plugins these will be available to the -style
28 command line option
29 -stylesheet=stylesheet
31 sets the application styleSheet. The value must be a path to a file
32 that contains the Style Sheet. Note: Relative URLs in the Style
33 Sheet file are relative to the Style Sheet file´s path.
34 -session=session
36 restores the application from an earlier session.
37 -widgetcount
39 prints debug message at the end about number of widgets left
40 undestroyed and maximum number of widgets existed at the same time
41 -reverse
43 sets the application´s layout direction to Qt::RightToLeft

46 sets the backend to be used for on-screen widgets and QPixmaps.
47 Available options are raster and opengl.

50 sets the X display (default is $DISPLAY).

53 sets the client geometry of the first window that is shown.

56 defines the application font. The font should be specified using an

60 sets the default background color and an application palette (light
61 and dark shades are calculated).

70 sets the application name.

74 -visual TrueColor
76 forces the application to use a TrueColor visual on an 8-bit

78 -ncols count
80 limits the number of colors allocated in the color cube on an 8-bit
81 display, if the application is using the QApplication::ManyColor
82 color specification. If count is 216 then a 6x6x6 color cube is
83 used (i.e. 6 levels of red, 6 of green, and 6 of blue); for other
84 values, a cube approximately proportional to a 2x3x1 cube is used.
85 -cmap
87 causes the application to install a private color map on an 8-bit
88 display.
89 -im
91 sets the input method server (equivalent to setting the XMODIFIERS
92 environment variable)
93 -inputstyle
95 defines how the input is inserted into the given widget, e.g.,
96 onTheSpot makes the input appear directly in the widget, while
97 overTheSpot makes the input appear in a box floating over the
98 widget and is not inserted until the editing is done.
