DESCRIPTION

21       The functionality described on this reference page is aligned with  the
22       ISO C  standard.  Any  conflict between the requirements described here
23       and the ISO C standard is unintentional. This  volume  of  POSIX.1‐2008
24       defers to the ISO C standard.

26       The strchr() function shall locate the first occurrence of c (converted
27       to a char) in the string pointed to by s.  The terminating NUL  charac‐
28       ter is considered to be part of the string.

RETURN VALUE

31       Upon completion, strchr() shall return a pointer to the byte, or a null
32       pointer if the byte was not found.
