DESCRIPTION

23       For  wcscpy():  The  functionality  described on this reference page is
24       aligned with the ISO C standard. Any conflict between the  requirements
25       described  here and the ISO C standard is unintentional. This volume of
26       POSIX.1‐2008 defers to the ISO C standard.

28       The wcpcpy() and  wcscpy()  functions  shall  copy  the  wide-character
29       string pointed to by ws2 (including the terminating null wide-character
30       code) into the array pointed to by ws1.

32       The  application  shall  ensure  that  there  is  room  for  at   least
33       wcslen(ws2)+1  wide  characters  in the ws1 array, and that the ws2 and
34       ws1 arrays do not overlap.

36       If copying takes place between objects that overlap,  the  behavior  is

RETURN VALUE

40       The  wcpcpy()  function  shall return a pointer to the terminating null
