9       mate-desktop-item-edit [OPTIONS] [FILE]

DESCRIPTION

12       Distributed  with mate-panel, mate-desktop-item-edit allows you to edit
13       .desktop files.

OPTIONS

16       --create-new
17              Create a new file in the given directory.

19       --display=DISPLAY
20              X display to use.

23              Print standard command line options.

26              Print all command line options.

28       This program also accepts the standard GTK options.

EXAMPLES

31       mate-desktop-item-edit --create-new ~/Desktop/Icon.desktop
32           Open a mate-desktop-item-edit dialog to create a launcher  icon  on
