DESCRIPTION

11       These profiles provides performance  optimizations  for  the  SAP  HANA
12       applications.

PROFILES

16       The following profiles are provided:

19       sap-hana
20              A  performance  optimized profile for the SAP HANA applications.
21              It is based on throughput-performance profile.  It  additionally
22              disables  transparent  hugepages,  locks CPU to the low C states
23              (by PM QoS) and tunes sysctl regarding semaphores.

26       sap-hana-vmware
27              A performance optimized profile for the SAP HANA applications on
28              VMware.  It is based on throughput-performance profile. It addi‐
29              tionally disables transparent hugepages, locks CPU to the low  C
30              states  (by  PM  QoS)  and tunes sysctl regarding semaphores. It
31              decreases virtual memory swappiness and disables  large  receive
32              offload for the network adapter.
