NAME

6       mailstat - shows mail-arrival statistics

SYNOPSIS

9       mailstat [-klmots] [logfile]

DESCRIPTION

12       mailstat  parses  a  procmail-generated $LOGFILE and displays a summary
13       about the messages delivered to all folders (total size, average  size,
14       nr  of messages).  The $LOGFILE is truncated to zero length, unless the
15       -k option is used.  Exit code 0 if mail arrived, 1 if no mail arrived.

18       -k     keep logfile intact

20       -l     long display format

22       -m     merge any errors into one line

24       -o     use the old logfile

26       -t     terse display format

28       -s     silent in case of no mail
