DESCRIPTION

12       calamares  is  a  distribution-independent  system  installer,  with an
13       advanced partitioning feature for both manual and automated  partition‐
14       ing  operations.  It  is the first installer with an automated “Replace
15       Partition” option, which makes it easy to reuse a  partition  over  and
16       over for distribution testing. Calamares is designed to be customizable
17       by distribution  maintainers  without  need  for  cumbersome  patching,
18       thanks to third party branding and external modules support.
