NAME

6       saveconfig  -  Directory Server script for saving the Admin Server con‐
7       figuration

SYNOPSIS

10       saveconfig [ -Z serverID ] [-h]

DESCRIPTION

13       Makes a backup of the Admin Server configuration information and stores
14       it in /var/lib/dirsrv/slapd-instance_name/bak.

OPTIONS

17       A summary of options is included below:

19       -Z Server Identifier
20              The  server  ID  of  the Directory Server instance.  If there is
21              only one instance on the system, this option can be skipped.

24              Display the usage.

EXAMPLE

27       saveconfig -Z instance3

DIAGNOSTICS

30       Exit status is zero if no errors occur.  Errors result  in  a  non-zero
31       exit status and a diagnostic message being written to standard error.
