DESCRIPTION

21       The functionality described on this reference page is aligned with  the
22       ISO C  standard.  Any  conflict between the requirements described here
23       and the ISO C standard is unintentional. This  volume  of  POSIX.1‐2008
24       defers to the ISO C standard.

26       The  clearerr()  function shall clear the end-of-file and error indica‐
27       tors for the stream to which stream points.
