6       perror - explain error codes

9       perror [options] errorcode ...

DESCRIPTION

12       For most system errors, MariaDB displays, in addition to an internal
13       text message, the system error code in one of the following styles:

15           message ... (errno: #)
16           message ... (Errcode: #)

18       You can find out what the error code means by examining the
19       documentation for your system or by using the perror utility.

21       perror prints a description for a system error code or for a storage
22       engine (table handler) error code.

24       Invoke perror like this:

26           shell> perror [options] errorcode ...

31           OS error code  13:  Permission denied
32           OS error code  64:  Machine is not on the network

34       Note that the meaning of system error messages may be dependent on your
35       operating system. A given error code may mean different things on
36       different operating systems.

46           Silent mode. Print only the error message.
