DESCRIPTION

18       This program is part of Netpbm(1).

20       pbmtomda  reads  a PBM image as input and produces a MicroDesign 2 area
21       file (.MDA) as output.

23       If you do not specify pbmfile, pbmtomda uses Standard Input.

OPTIONS

27       In addition to the options common to all programs  based  on  libnetpbm
28       (most notably -quiet, see
29        Common  Options  ⟨index.html#commonoptions⟩ ), pbmtomda recognizes the

34       -d     Halve the height of the  output  file,  to  compensate  for  the
35              aspect ratio used in MicroDesign files.

LIMITATIONS

44       There's no way to produce files in MicroDesign 3 format. MD3 itself and
45       mdatopbm(1) can read files in either format.
