NAME

6       openssl-nseq, nseq - create or examine a Netscape certificate sequence

9       openssl nseq [-help] [-in filename] [-out filename] [-toseq]

DESCRIPTION

12       The nseq command takes a file containing a Netscape certificate
13       sequence and prints out the certificates contained in it or takes a
14       file of certificates and converts it into a Netscape certificate
15       sequence.

OPTIONS

19           Print out a usage message.

22           This specifies the input filename to read or standard input if this
23           option is not specified.

26           Specifies the output filename or standard output by default.

29           Normally a Netscape certificate sequence will be input and the
30           output is the certificates contained in it. With the -toseq option
31           the situation is reversed: a Netscape certificate sequence is

50       A Netscape certificate sequence is a Netscape specific format that can
51       be sent to browsers as an alternative to the standard PKCS#7 format
52       when several certificates are sent to the browser: for example during
53       certificate enrollment.  It is used by Netscape certificate server for

57       This program needs a few more options: like allowing DER or PEM input
58       and output files and allowing multiple certificate files to be used.
