DESCRIPTION

22       The functionality described on this reference page is aligned with  the
23       ISO C  standard.  Any  conflict between the requirements described here
24       and the ISO C standard is unintentional. This  volume  of  POSIX.1‐2017
25       defers to the ISO C standard.

27       These functions shall compute the complex arc tangent of z, with branch
28       cuts outside the interval [-i, +i] along the imaginary axis.

RETURN VALUE

31       These functions shall return the complex  arc  tangent  value,  in  the
32       range  of a strip mathematically unbounded along the imaginary axis and
33       in the interval [-π/2, +π/2] along the real axis.
