NAME

6       mailsnarf - sniff mail messages in Berkeley mbox format

SYNOPSIS

9       mailsnarf [-i interface | -p pcapfile] [[-v] pattern [expression]]

DESCRIPTION

12       mailsnarf  outputs e-mail messages sniffed from SMTP and POP traffic in
13       Berkeley mbox format, suitable for offline browsing with your  favorite
14       mail reader (mail(1), pine(1), etc.).

OPTIONS

17       -i interface
18              Specify the interface to listen on.

20       -p pcapfile
21              Process  packets from the specified PCAP capture file instead of
22              the network.

24       -v     "Versus" mode. Invert the sense  of  matching,  to  select  non-
25              matching messages.

28              Specify regular expression for message header/body matching.

31              Specify  a  tcpdump(8)  filter  expression  to select traffic to
