NAME

6       pam_faildelay - Change the delay on failure per-application

SYNOPSIS

9       pam_faildelay.so [debug] [delay=microseconds]

DESCRIPTION

12       pam_faildelay is a PAM module that can be used to set the delay on
13       failure per-application.

15       If no delay is given, pam_faildelay will use the value of FAIL_DELAY
16       from /etc/login.defs.

OPTIONS

19       debug
20           Turns on debugging messages sent to syslog.

22       delay=N
23           Set the delay on failure to N microseconds.

MODULE TYPES PROVIDED

26       Only the auth module type is provided.

RETURN VALUES

29       PAM_IGNORE
30           Delay was successful adjusted.

33           The specified delay was not valid.

EXAMPLES

36       The following example will set the delay on failure to 10 seconds:
