NAME

7       cgclear - unload the cgroup filesystem

SYNOPSIS

11       cgclear [-e] [-l <filename>] [-L <directory>] [...]

DESCRIPTION

15       Without parameters, this command moves all the tasks inside the various
16       cgroups to the  root  cgroup,  deletes  all  the  cgroups  and  finally
17       unmounts the cgroup filesystem from the system.

19       If  one  or more config files are specified, only groups defined in the
20       config files are removed. The files are  processed  in  reverse  order,
21       i.e.  the  last file on command line is processed first, so cgclear can
22       have the same command line arguments as appropriate cgconfigparser.

25       -l, --load=<filename>
26              specifies the config file to read. This option can be used  mul‐
27              tiple times and can be mixed with -L option.

30       -L, --load-directory=<directory>
31              specifies  the  directory,  which  is searched for configuration
32              files. All files in this directory will be processed  in  alpha‐
33              betical  order  as they were specified by -l option. This option
34              can be used multiple times and can be mixed with -l option.

37       -e     specifies that only empty groups should be removed. If  a  group
38              defined  in a config file has tasks inside or has a subgroup, it
39              won't be removed. This option works only with -l or -L options.
