DESCRIPTION

15       The pkey command processes public or private keys. They can be
16       converted between various forms and their components printed out.

OPTIONS

19       -help
20           Print out a usage message.

22       -inform DER|PEM
23           This specifies the input format DER or PEM. The default format is
24           PEM.

26       -outform DER|PEM
27           This specifies the output format, the options have the same meaning
28           and default as the -inform option.

31           This specifies the input filename to read a key from or standard
32           input if this option is not specified. If the key is encrypted a
33           pass phrase will be prompted for.

36           The input file password source. For more information about the
37           format of arg see "Pass Phrase Options" in openssl(1).

40           This specifies the output filename to write a key to or standard
41           output if this option is not specified. If any encryption options
42           are set then a pass phrase will be prompted for. The output
43           filename should not be the same as the input filename.

50           Normally a private key is written using standard format: this is
51           PKCS#8 form with the appropriate encryption algorithm (if any). If

56           These options encrypt the private key with the supplied cipher. Any
57           algorithm name accepted by EVP_get_cipherbyname() is acceptable
