15 XmTextGetTopCharacter accesses the position of the text at the top of
16 the Text widget. If there is no text in the Text widget (in other
17 words, XmNvalue contains an empty string), then XmTextGetTopCharacter
18 returns 0.

20 Suppose that the XmNtopCharacter resource has been set to a value
21 greater than the number of characters in the text widget. In this case,
22 XmTextGetTopCharacter returns an XmTextPosition value identifying the
23 position of the first character in the last line of text in a multiline
24 case; otherwise, it identifies the position of the last character in
25 the line.
