DESCRIPTION

17       When pmRegisterDerived(3) is called to add a new derived metric defini‐
18       tion  and  an error occurs, pmDerivedErrStr may be called to return the
19       associated error message.

21       The pmRegisterDerivedMetric interface provides  a  convenience  wrapper
22       around both pmRegisterDerived and pmDerivedErrStr.
