DESCRIPTION

14       The abort extension adds a function named abort(), as follows:

16       abort([exit-val])
17              This function takes an integer argument and passes that value to
18              the exit(3) C library function.  If the argument is not numeric,
19              it passes zero to exit(3).  No matter what, gawk exits.
