6       fwupdtool - standalone firmware update utility

DESCRIPTION

12       This  tool allows an administrator to use the fwupd plugins without be‐
13       ing installed on the host system.

15       Additionally dfu-tool can be used to convert firmware from various dif‐
16       ferent  formats, or to modify the images contained inside the container
17       firmware file.  For example, you can convert DFU or Intel HEX  firmware
18       into the vendor-specific format.

OPTIONS

21       The  fwupdtool  command  takes various options depending on the action.
22       Run fwupdtool --help for the full list.

EXIT STATUS

25       Commands that successfully execute will return "0", but  commands  that
26       have no actions but successfully execute will return "2".
