6       glib-config  - script to get information about the installed version of

SYNOPSIS

10       glib-config [--prefix[=DIR]] [--exec-prefix[=DIR]] [--version] [--libs]
11       [--cflags] [LIBRARIES]

DESCRIPTION

14       glib-config  is  a tool that is used to configure to determine the com‐
15       piler and linker flags that should be used to compile and link programs
16       that  use  GLib.  It  is also used internally to the .m4 macros for GNU
17       autoconf that are included with GLib.

OPTIONS

20       glib-config accepts the following options:

22       LIBRARIES
23               GLib has three libraries 'glib', 'gmodule' and  'gthread'.   If
24               you  specify  one of them, only the appropriate things for that
25               library will be printed.

27       --version
28               Print the currently installed version of GLib on  the  standard
29               output.

31       --libs  Print  the  linker flags that are necessary to link a GLib pro‐
32               gram.

34       --cflags
35               Print the compiler flags that are necessary to compile  a  GLib
36               program.

38       --prefix=PREFIX
39               If  specified,  use  PREFIX  instead of the installation prefix
40               that GLib was built with when  computing  the  output  for  the
41               --cflags  and  --libs options. This option is also used for the
42               exec prefix if --exec-prefix was  not  specified.  This  option
43               must be specified before any --libs or --cflags options.

45       --exec-prefix=PREFIX
46               If  specified, use PREFIX instead of the installation exec pre‐
47               fix that GLib was built with when computing the output for  the
48               --cflags  and  --libs  options.   This option must be specified
49               before any --libs or --cflags options.
