NAME

6 hcd - change working HFS directory
7

SYNOPSIS

9 hcd [hfs-path]
10

DESCRIPTION

12 hcd is used to change the notion of the "current working directory" for
13 the current HFS volume. All subsequent HFS commands will interpret
14 filenames relative to this directory, unless absolute pathnames are
15 used.
16
17 If the argument pathname is omitted, hcd will change to the root of the
18 current volume.

22

FILES

24 $HOME/.hcwd

BUGS

27 Although absolute pathnames can be given to hcd, the full pathname must
28 match the current volume; it cannot specify a path for a different vol‐
29 ume. Use hvol or hmount to change the current volume. (Each volume has
30 its own independent current working directory.)
