6 bdii-update - the bdii update process

9 bdii-update [-d ] -c config-file

12 The bdii-update process obtains the LDIF by reading files found the
13 ldif directory, running providers found in the provider directory and
14 running plugins found in the plugin
15 directory. The difference between providers and plugins is that
16 providers return complete entries and plugins provide modifications to
17 existing entries. The process can be run either as a daemon that peri‐
18 odically synchronizes an LDAP database or as a command that will print
19 the result to stdout.
