ezdxf strip – strip comments and THUMBNAILIMAGE section from DXF files

SYNOPSIS

8       ezdxf strip [-h] [-b] [-t] [-v] [FILE] [FILE...]

DESCRIPTION

11       Strip comment tags (group code 999) from ASCII DXF files and can remove
12       the THUMBNAILIMAGE section.  Binary DXF files are not supported.

OPTIONS

15   POSITIONAL ARGUMENTS
16       FILE   DXF file to process, wildcards * and ?  are supported

18   OPTIONAL ARGUMENTS
19       -h, --help
20              show a help message and exit

22       -b, --backup
23              make a backup copy with extension .bak from the DXF file,  over‐
24              writes existing backup files

26       -t, --thumbnail
27              strip THUMBNAILIMAGE section
