NAME

6       pre2ncgm - convert a pre-CGM NCAR metafile to an NCAR CGM.

DESCRIPTION

12       The  "pre2ncgm"  command  reads  a  pre-CGM NCAR metafile from standard
13       input  and writes an NCAR CGM file to standard output.   When  plotted,
14       the  output file should have virtually the same appearance as the input
15       file.

OPTIONS

18       -n     When this option appears, all  text  and  header  records  which
19              appear  in  the  input file (created by PRSIM) are not copied to
20              the output file.

EXAMPLES

27       causes  "input-file"  (which  should  be  a   pre-CGM   NCAR  metafile)
28       to  be  read and the equivalent NCAR CGM file to be written to "output-

DIAGNOSTICS

32       Various errors  are  detected  by  "pre2ncgm"  and   are   written   to
33       /dev/tty.
