6       unigencircles - Add dashed combining circles to a unifont.hex file

SYNOPSIS

9       unigencircles  combining.txt  nonprinting.hex  < unifont.hex > unifont-

DESCRIPTION

13       unigencircles reads a unifont.hex file from STDIN, adds dashed  combin‐
14       ing  circles  to  the  hex  strings  for code points listed in "combin‐
15       ing.txt" but not listed in "nonprinting.hex", and  writes  the  revised
16       set of glyphs in unifont.hex format to STDOUT.  The resulting combining
17       character glyphs show the dashed combining circles that appear  in  The
18       Unicode Standard code charts.

20       For  each  code point listed in the "combining.txt" file but not listed
21       in the "nonprinting.hex" file, unigencircles will superimpose a single-
22       width  dashed  circle  in glyphs that are single-width (i.e., their hex
23       glyph strings are 32 characters long) and will  superimpose  a  double-
24       width  dashed  circle  in glyphs that are double-width (i.e., their hex
25       glyph strings are 64 characters long).
