17       • collection: A mongoc_collection_t.

55       If no _id element is found in document, then a bson_oid_t will be  gen‐
56       erated locally and added to the document. If you must know the inserted
57       document's _id, generate it in your code and include it  in  the  docu‐
58       ment.  The  _id you generate can be a bson_oid_t or any other non-array
59       BSON type.

61       If you pass a non-NULL reply, it is filled out with an  "insertedCount"
62       field.  If  there  is  a  server  error  then  reply  contains either a
63       "writeErrors" array with one subdocument or a "writeConcernErrors"  ar‐
64       ray. The reply must be freed with bson_destroy().

67       Errors are propagated via the error parameter.

RETURNS

70       Returns  true  if successful. Returns false and sets error if there are
