DESCRIPTION

12       This  manual  page  documents briefly the freecol command.  This manual
13       page was written for the Debian distribution because the original  pro‐
14       gram does not have a manual page.

16       freecol  is  a  free clone of the famous game Colonization. It's a turn
17       based strategy game in which each player becomes leader of an  European
18       nation, fighting to obtain the independence of the mother country.

20       A multiplayer mode has been added to the original game.

OPTIONS

23       A summary of options is included below.

25       --freecol-data DIR
26              DIR  should be the directory with FreeCol's data files, it has a
27              subdirectory called images.

30              Runs FreeCol in windowed mode instead of full screen mode.
