SYNOPSIS

9       git hook run [--ignore-missing] [--to-stdin=<path>] <hook-name> [-- <hook-args>]

DESCRIPTION

12       A command interface for running git hooks (see githooks(5)), for use by
13       other scripted git commands.

SUBCOMMANDS

16       run
17           Run the <hook-name> hook. See githooks(5) for supported hook names.

19           Any positional arguments to the hook should be passed after a
20           mandatory -- (or --end-of-options, see gitcli(7)). See githooks(5)
21           for arguments hooks might expect (if any).

OPTIONS

24       --to-stdin
25           For "run"; specify a file which will be streamed into the hook’s
26           stdin. The hook will receive the entire file from beginning to EOF.

28       --ignore-missing
29           Ignore any missing hook by quietly returning zero. Used for tools
30           that want to do a blind one-shot run of a hook that may or may not
31           be present.
