6       pvfs2-mkspace – create storage space for OrangeFS server

SYNOPSIS

9       pvfs2-mkspace  [-adDhvV]  [-c  name] [-i id] [-r handle] [-M range] [-N
10       range] [--data-space path] [--meta-space path] directory

DESCRIPTION

13       The pvfs2-mkspace utility creates an OrangeFS volume with a single col‐
14       lection  or  adds  a  new  collection to an existing storage space.  It
15       should be used after changing the storage  configuration  of  a  server
16       which has already been initialized.

18       The options are as follows:

20       -a     Add a collection instead of creating a new storage space.

22       -d     Use  all  default options.  The default options can be seen with
23              -h.

25       -D     Remove (permanently) the storage space.

27       -h     Display synopsis.

29       -v     Print version number and exit.

35       -i     Use id as file system ID.

ENVIRONMENT

51              If set to the path of a local file, redirect debug output to it.
