SYNOPSIS

12       Creates a new Dist-Zilla based distribution under the current
13       directory.

17       There are two arguments, "-p" and "-P". "-P" specify the minting
18       profile provider and "-p" - the profile name.

20       The default profile provider first looks in the
21       ~/.dzil/profiles/$profile_name and then among standard profiles,
22       shipped with Dist::Zilla. For example:

24         $ dzil new -p work Corporate::Library

26       This command would instruct "dzil" to look in ~/.dzil/profiles/work for
27       a profile.ini (or other "profile" config file).  If no profile name is
28       given, "dzil" will look for the "default" profile.  If no default
29       directory exists, it will use a very simple configuration shipped with
30       Dist::Zilla.

34       This command would instruct "dzil" to consult the Foo provider about
35       the directory of 'default' profile.

37       Furthermore, it is possible to specify the default minting provider and
38       profile in the ~/.dzil/config.ini file, for example:

PERL VERSION

45       This module should work on any version of perl still receiving updates
46       from the Perl 5 Porters.  This means it should work on any version of
47       perl released in the last two to three years.  (That is, if the most
48       recently released version is v5.40, then this module should work on
49       both v5.40 and v5.38.)

51       Although it may work on older versions of perl, no guarantee is made
52       that the minimum required version will not be increased.  The version
53       may be increased for any reason, and there is no promise that patches
54       will be accepted to lower the minimum required perl.
