9       create_makefiles [dir]

DESCRIPTION

12       create_makefiles recreates all Makefiles in dir and its (recursed)
13       subdirectories from the corresponding Makefile.am templates.

15       This script must be run from the toplevel directory (the one containing
16       configure). This script saves time compared to re-running configure
17       completely.

19       If the source directory is different from the build directory (see the
20       environment variables below), it will be assumed that each Makefile.am
21       and Makefile.in belongs beneath the source directory and that each
22       Makefile belongs beneath the build directory.

ENVIRONMENT

27       One of the following variables (but not both) should be set if the
28       source directory is different from the build directory. If the build
29       directory is simply a subdirectory of the source directory, the simpler
30       variable OBJ_SUBDIR should be used.

33           Indicates that the build directory is in the given subdirectory of
34           the source directory. For instance, if the source directory is
35           kdesdk and the build directory is kdesdk/obj-i386-linux, then
36           OBJ_SUBDIR should be set to obj-i386-linux.

38       OBJ_REPLACEMENT
39           A sed expression that is used to transform the source directory
40           into the build directory. For instance, if the source directory is
41           kdesdk/obj-i386-linux, then OBJ_REPLACEMENT should be set to
42           s#kdesdk#kdesdk-obj#.
