6       devnag - Devanagari for TeX preprocessor

SYNOPSIS

9       devnag in[.dn] [out[.tex]]

DESCRIPTION

12       devnag is a preprocessor that reads transliterated Devanagari input de‐
13       limited by \dn and converts it into a form with which TeX is familiar.

15       The preprocessor handles the details of character placement such as the
16       alignment  of vowel diacritics and consonant ligatures. The rest of the
17       layout, however, must be managed by the user.

19       For specification of the format please see the documentation accompany‐
20       ing the package.

OPTIONS

23       in[.dn] out[.tex]
24              The  default  file extension for an input file is .dn and for an
25              output file .tex. The output filename is optional. If an  output
26              filename  is  not specified, the preprocessor will name it after
27              the input file.
