6       dh_icons - Update caches of Freedesktop icons

DESCRIPTION

12       dh_icons is a debhelper program that updates caches of Freedesktop
13       icons when needed, using the update-icon-caches program provided by
14       GTK+2.12.  Currently this program does not handle installation of the
15       files, though it may do so at a later date, so should be run after
16       icons are installed in the package build directories.

18       It takes care of adding maintainer script fragments to call update-
19       icon-caches for icon directories. (This is not done for gnome and
20       hicolor icons, as those are handled by triggers.)  These commands are
21       inserted into the maintainer scripts by dh_installdeb(1).

OPTIONS

24       -n, --no-scripts
25           Do not modify maintainer scripts.
