18 ilbmtoppm reads an IFF ILBM file as input and produces a PPM image as
20 output. ilbmtoppm can handle the following ILBM types:
21 · Normal ILBMs with 1-16 planes.
25 · Amiga Extra_Halfbrite (EHB)
27 · Amiga HAM with 3-16 planes.
29 · 24 bit.
31 · Multiplatte (normal or HAM) pictures.
33 · Color map (BMHD + CMAP chunk only, nPlanes = 0).
35 · Unofficial direct color. 1-16 planes for each color component.
37 ilbmtoppm uses these ILBM chunks: BMHD, CMAP, CAMG (only HAM & EHB
40 flags used), PCHG, BODY unofficial DCOL chunk to identify direct color
41 ILBM. It ignores these chunks: GRAB, DEST, SPRT, CRNG, CCRT, CLUT,
42 DPPV, DRNG, EPSF. It ignores, but displays in verbose mode, these:
43 NAME, AUTH, (c), ANNO, DPI. It skips chunks whose type it doesn't rec‐
44 ognize.

81 transparency mask. The mask file is a PBM image which maps to
82 the input image with white pixels representing transparent pix‐
83 els in the image and black pixels representing opaque pixels.
84 If you don't specfy this, or the image does not contain trans‐
86 parency information, ilbmtoppm does not create a mask file.
87 -cmaponly
90 With this option, ilbmtoppm generates a PPM of the ILBM's color
91 map, not the image itself.
92 ilbmtoppm does the same thing even without -cmaponly if the ILBM
94 is a pure color map stream (it has a bitmap header with an
95 nplanes value of zero or has no BODY chunk.
96 -adjustcolors
99 If all colors in the CMAP have a value of less then 16, ilbm‐
100 toppm assumes a 4-bit colormap and gives a warning. With this
