NAME

6       jpilot-merge  -  merge  an  unsynced records file (pc3) into the corre‐
7       sponding palm database (pdb) file

SYNOPSIS

10       jpilot-merge {input pdb file} {input pc3 file} {output pdb file}

DESCRIPTION

13       This program will merge an unsynced records file (pc3) into the  corre‐
14       sponding palm database (pdb) file.

16       WARNING: Only run this utility if you understand the consequences!

18       The  merge  will  leave  your databases in an unsync-able state.  It is
19       intended for cases where J-pilot is being used as a standalone PIM  and
20       where no syncing occurs to physical hardware.

22       WARNING: Make a backup copy of your databases before proceeding.

24       It  is  quite  simple to destroy your databases by accidentally merging
25       address records into datebook databases, etc.
