NAME

6 SSL_set_verify_result - override result of peer certificate
7 verification
8

SYNOPSIS

10 #include <openssl/ssl.h>
11
12        void SSL_set_verify_result(SSL *ssl, long verify_result);
13

DESCRIPTION

15 SSL_set_verify_result() sets verify_result of the object ssl to be the
16 result of the verification of the X509 certificate presented by the
17 peer, if any.
18

NOTES

20 SSL_set_verify_result() overrides the verification result. It only
21 changes the verification result of the ssl object. It does not become
22 part of the established session, so if the session is to be reused
23 later, the original value will reappear.
24
25 The valid codes for verify_result are documented in verify(1).
26

RETURN VALUES

28 SSL_set_verify_result() does not provide a return value.
