NAME

6       addwords - Adding words to specified dictionary collectively

SYNOPSIS

9       addwords [{-cs|-cannaserver} cannaserver][-l file] dicname

DESCRIPTION

12       addwords  adds  words  to  specified  dictionary  according to the word
13       information from the standard input.  The standard input must be  in  a
14       format of ``Text Dictionary format'' of Canna.

16       dicname must be a ``Text Dictionary format'' which can be rewritten.

OPTIONS

19       -is cannaserver (or -cannaserver cannaserver)
20                   Specifies the hostname on which the specified dictionary is
21                   expected to exist.

EXAMPLE

24         % addwords mydic < newwords

26       Adds words defined in newwords to mydic.
