9           git-ls-remote [--heads] [--tags]  [-u <exec> | --upload-pack <exec>]

DESCRIPTION

13       Displays references available in a remote repository along with the
14       associated commit IDs.

OPTIONS

17       -h|--heads, -t|--tags
18           Limit to only refs/heads and refs/tags, respectively. These options
19           are not mutually exclusive; when given both, references stored in
20           refs/heads and refs/tags are displayed.

22       -u <exec>, --upload-pack=<exec>
23           Specify the full path of git-upload-pack(1) on the remote host.
24           This allows listing references from repositories accessed via SSH
25           and where the SSH daemon does not use the PATH configured by the
26           user. Also see the --exec option for git-peek-remote(1).

28       <repository>
29           Location of the repository. The shorthand defined in
30           $GIT_DIR/branches/ can be used. Use "." (dot) to list references in
31           the local repository.

33       <refs>...
34           When unspecified, all references, after filtering done with --heads
35           and --tags, are shown. When <refs>... are specified, only
36           references matching the given patterns are displayed.
