DESCRIPTION

18       CNM         (CHARACTER, input) is the name of a parameter whose
19                   character value is to be retrieved. Only the first three
20                   characters of CNM are examined.  The three characters may
21                   either be entirely upper or entirely lower case; mixed case
22                   is not recognized. It is recommended that the rest of the
23                   character string be used to improve the readability of the
24                   code.  For example, instead of just ´ZFT´, use ´ZFT - Zero
25                   Field Text String´.

27       CVL         (CHARACTER, output) is a variable in which the value of the
28                   parameter specified by CNM is to be returned.

C-BINDING DESCRIPTION

31       The C-binding argument descriptions are the same as the FORTRAN
32       argument descriptions with the following exception:

35       len         The size of cvl as dimensioned in the calling program.

USAGE

38       This routine allows you to retrieve the current value of Streamlines
39       parameters of type CHARACTER. For a complete list of parameters
40       available in this utility, see the streamlines_params man page.

ACCESS

43       To use STGETC or c_stgetc, load the NCAR Graphics libraries ncarg,
44       ncarg_gks, and ncarg_c, preferably in that order.
