NAME

6 VVGETR - Gets the current value of a Vectors parameter of type REAL.
7

SYNOPSIS

9 CALL VVGETR (CNM,RVL)
10

C-BINDING SYNOPSIS

12 #include <ncarg/ncargC.h>
13
14 void c_vvgetr(char *cnm, float *rvl)
15

DESCRIPTION

17 CNM (CHARACTER, input) is the name of a parameter whose real
18 value is to be retrieved. Only the first three characters
19 of CNM are examined. The three characters may either be
20 entirely upper or entirely lower case; mixed case is not
21 recognized. It is recommended that the rest of the
22 character string be used to improve the readability of the
23 code. For example, instead of just ´DMX´, use ´DMX - Device
24 Maximum Vector Size´.
25
26 RVL (REAL, output) is a variable in which the value of the
27 parameter specified by CNM is to be returned.
28

C-BINDING DESCRIPTION

30 The C-binding argument descriptions are the same as the FORTRAN
31 argument descriptions.
32

USAGE

34 This routine allows you to retrieve the current value of Vectors
35 parameters of type REAL. For a complete list of parameters available
36 in this utility, see the vectors_params man page.
37

EXAMPLES

39 Use the ncargex command to see the following relevant examples: ffex02,
40 ffex05, vvex01, vvex02.
41

ACCESS

43 To use VVGETR or c_vvgetr, load the NCAR Graphics libraries ncarg,
44 ncarg_gks, and ncarg_c, preferably in that order.
45

MESSAGES

47 See the vectors man page for a description of all Vectors error
48 messages and/or informational messages.
