NAME

6 pam_misc_setenv - BSD like PAM environment variable setting
7

SYNOPSIS

9       #include <security/pam_misc.h>
10
11 int pam_misc_setenv(pam_handle_t *pamh, const char *name,
12                           const char *value, intreadonly);
13

DESCRIPTION

15 This function performs a task equivalent to pam_putenv(3), its syntax
16 is, however, more like the BSD style function; setenv(). The name and
17 value are concatenated with an '=' to form a name=value and passed to
18 pam_putenv(). If, however, the PAM variable is already set, the
19 replacement will only be applied if the last argument, readonly, is
20       zero.

STANDARDS

26 The pam_misc_setenv function is part of the libpam_misc Library and not
27       defined in any standard.
