DESCRIPTION

14       genuca  compiles  the  Unicode Collation Algorithm (UCA) data from file
15       (or from FractionalUCA.txt if file is omitted) into  its  binary  form,
16       the  files  ucadata.dat and invuca.dat.  These binary files can then be
17       read directly by ICU, or used by pkgdata(8) for  incorporation  into  a
18       larger archive or library.

OPTIONS

21       -h, -?, --help
22              Print help about usage and exit.

25              Print the version of genuca and exit.

28              Display extra informative messages during execution.

31              Include a copyright notice into the binary data.

34              Set  the  source directory to source.  The default source direc‐
35              tory is specified by the environment variable ICU_DATA.

ENVIRONMENT

43       ICU_DATA  Specifies the directory  containing  ICU  data.  Defaults  to
44                 /usr/share/icu/3.6/.   Some  tools in ICU depend on the pres‐
45                 ence of the trailing slash. It is thus important to make sure
46                 that it is present if ICU_DATA is set.
