NAME

6       ipsec _confread - internal routing to parse config file

DESCRIPTION

9       _confread is an internal script used for parsing /etc/ipsec.conf into a
10       canonical format.

OBSOLETE

14       _confread is going to  be  obsoleted  in  the  next  major  release  of
15       Openswan  in  favour of the addcon code. The new code will load all the
16       connections much faster then the current scripts that can takes minutes
17       to  load  a  few  hunderd  conns, and requires awk and sed commands not
18       always available in their full versions, such as with busybox on embed‐
19       ded  platforms. The old alternative to this called starter will also be
20       removed as obsolete for the new addcon code.
