NAME

6       udevmonitor - print the kernel and udev event sequence to the console

SYNOPSIS

9       udevmonitor [--environment] [--kernel] [--udev] [--help]

DESCRIPTION

12       udevmonitor listens to the kernel uevents and events sent out by a udev
13       rule and prints the devpath of the event to the console. It can be used
14       to analyze the event timing, by comparing the timestamps of the kernel
15       uevent and the udev event.

OPTIONS

18       --environment
19           Print the complete environment for all events. Can be used to
20           compare the kernel supplied and the udev added environment values.

22       --kernel
23           Print the kernel uevents.

25       --udev
26           Print the udev event after the rule processing.

29           Print usage.
