6       cal - print calendar

SYNOPSIS

9       cal [ month ] year

DESCRIPTION

12       Cal prints a calendar for the specified year.  If a month is also spec‐
13       ified, a calendar just for that month is printed.  Year can be  between
14       1 and 9999.  The month is a number between 1 and 12.  The calendar pro‐
15       duced is that for England and her colonies.

BUGS

20       The year is always considered to start in January even though  this  is
21       historically naive.
22       Beware  that  `cal  78' refers to the early Christian era, not the 20th
23       century.
